The syllabus of this course touches on the subject of formal and semantic analysis of the visual world. Its elements are: shape, colour, light, space, meaning, sign, message, content, understanding. Using a variety of techniques such as simple manual tools, collage, photography, digital art, and video recording, students learn to read, interpret and process forms from the domains of nature and culture. Discovering order and logic in the diversity of the natural world, its interpretation and construction of artistic order is the main theme of these activities. Examples of subjects-tasks include: portrait /self-portrait/, geometry and composition, sequence /series of events or concepts/ - relation between form and content, the concept and functions of symbol and metaphor in the visual message, space-light-motion /expressive and visual relationships of forms and phenomena/.
